Felice Ardito: Author of stories, Artist, Curious and Creative Teacher.
Felice is the sculptor craftsman creator of Cenzino, he loves to write and tell stories, paint while listening to music, and when he is at school, he never stops learning.
Felice explores and uses every expressive form to tell his experiences and to communicate his suppressed desires.
He defines himself as a "clumsy poet", adores Persian poetry, Dante, and all those who explore the Infinite with words, music, and images.
"My name is Felice Ardito, I am 46 years old, and like all of you, I was born an artist. As a child, I followed this inclination, but I grew up and had to adapt quickly to avoid suffering. When I find the child I used to be, then I will be an artist again!" ( these are the words with which Felice made his debut at the European Parliament in Brussels, in a speech on the importance of art in the age of Artificial Intelligence)
Cenzino: A Symbol of Resilience and Optimism
Cenzino was born from Felice's imagination, shortly after the passing of his father (June 2019), taking on the name of the parent as was customary in the South. Cenzino, like all marionettes, is born in a puppet theater, also made of iron, but comes to life and frees himself from the strings thanks to the light and the love of the Moon. (The story of Cenzino is told and illustrated in Felice Ardito's book "The departure of the Moon", published by Edizioni Il Castello, 2014).
Getting to know the Cenzino universe is like discovering our inner world, made of positive thoughts, emotions, and values but also of insecurities and fears to overcome, to become great and conscientious individuals.
Seeing through Cenzino's eyes helps us believe first in ourselves and then in a better world. Living like the White Marionette doesn't prevent us from falling, but teaches us to rise again and see a mistake as a life lesson. Living like Cenzino helps us fight to achieve our goals and touch the Moon with a finger.
