"JUDITH and BELIEVER", along with WAIT, are paintings born after participating in the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015. After being a guest and 'foreigner among foreigners' in the Iranian Pavilion, and having experienced war and migration in the works of 50 artists from across the Middle East, I lost color and began to shed light on 'uncomfortable' themes.


WAIT

WAIT is the work that announces the installation presented at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale in 2016. Cenzino, after experiencing the horrors of war (WAIT), meets Dante and Hafez: the two greatest poets of East and West, in front of the spontaneity of the Marionette, they shake hands, a simple yet powerful gesture at the same time. In Felice's idea, the realization of two doors of peace, dedicated to Dante and Hafez, between Italy and Iran as a symbol of a cultural bridge between East and West.

JUDITH 
"Judith and Holofernes" is the most famous biblical story in art: many artists in every era have depicted the tale of the young Judith who beheads General Holofernes and saves her people. Ardito's Judith is a photojournalist and with her partner they witness the horrors and sufferings in a city in central Palestine, like the besieged Bethulia 2200 years ago. After losing her love, Judith decides to avenge him and free that poor people from evil, first beheading the leader of the eastern army with a scimitar and then the general of the western army with a sword.

BELIEVER

BELIEVER
In this work, Cenzino is still in the foreground, suspended above the abyss, with arms outstretched in the iconic representation of the agony and sacrifice of Christ on the cross. Behind the Marionette, day and night over the Taj Mahal (on the left), symbol of Muslim art and monument to love, located in India; on the right, the Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi (Italy), which houses Giotto's frescoes on the life of the revolutionary friar. Love and art will save the world.
